1. Jada Jones (JCS softball) – Jones pitched a perfect
game, striking out eight of the nine batters she faced, as the Lady Eagles beat
Rossville Christian 16-0 in three innings.
2. Caleb Powell (Milan baseball) – Powell hit his third
home run of the season and went 3-for-4 as the Bulldogs beat Gibson County
11-1.
3. Payton Pierce (South Side baseball) – Pierce went
2-for-2 as the Hawks beat Phenix City (Ala.) 6-2 in Gulf Shores (Ala.).
4. Matt Poteete (JCS baseball) – Poteete pitched a
one-hitter as the Eagles beat Rossville Christian 11-0 in five innings.
5. Gian Garma (Westview soccer) – Garma scored two goals
as the Chargers beat Union City 6-0.
6. Jordan Lambert and Trevor Bishop (Hardin County
baseball) – Lambert and Bishop pitched the Tigers to District 13-AAA wins over
Brighton in a doubleheader. Lambert pitched Game 1 and the Tigers won 11-1.
Bishop pitched Game 2 and the Tigers won 6-1.
