his first no-hitter while striking out 10 batters as the Cavaliers beat Calloway
County (Ky.) 9-0.
2. Ke’Shunan James (South Side softball) – James went
4-for-5 at the plate, including a solo home run as the Lady Hawks beat JCS
15-5.
3. Caleb Rushing (Camden baseball) – Rushing pitched a
two-hitter as the Lions beat Bruceton 7-0.
4. Justin Roberts (McNairy Central baseball) – Roberts went
2-for-3 as the Bobcats beat Montgomery Central 12-3.
5. Hannah Higdon (JCS softball) – Higdon had a grand
slam, but the Lady Eagles lost to South Side.
6. Desrica Crews (Madison baseball) – Crews went 3-for-4
as the Mustangs beat JCM 12-7.
