1. Ross Johnson (Trenton Peabody baseball) – Johnson went
4-for-4 with a three-run home run and a double while adding six RBI as the
Golden Tide beat Eagleville 17-5.
2. Lauren Riddell (USJ softball) – Riddell picked up her
fifth win in the pitchers’ circle and went 3-for-3 as the Lady Bruins beat
Dyersburg 2-1.
3. Grant Lowrance (McKenzie baseball) – Lowrance hit a
home run while batting 3-for-4 as the Rebels beat West Carroll 9-6.
4. Hunter Sherrod (Crockett County baseball) – Sherrod picked
up his fourth win of the season, giving up two runs on three hits, as the
Cavaliers beat Obion County 17-2.
5. Collin McPherson (Chester County baseball) – McPherson
picked up the save on the mound and batted 2-for-2 as the Eagles beat
Adamsville 8-4.
6. Jack Richardson (Sacred Heart soccer) – Richardson scored
two goals as the Knights beat Scotts Hill 2-1 in overtime.
7. Reed Matheny
(USJ baseball) – Matheny went 3-for-4 as the Bruins won a rematch of last year’s
Division II-A state championship 7-6 over Harding Academy.
