Thursday's 6-star athletes (9/27)


1. Savannah Pillow (Crockett County volleyball) – Pillow had 11 kills, seven aces, three blocks and 19 assists as the Lady Cavaliers beat Chester County in five sets.

2. Baylie Pruett (Chester County soccer) – Pruett scored two goals as the Eaglettes claimed the No. 1 seed in the District 15 A-AA North Division in a 4-0 victory over McNairy Central.

3. Caitlyn Brown (Milan volleyball) – Brown had 36 assists, six kills and three aces as the Lady Bulldogs beat South Gibson 3-1.

4. Carli Sisson (Crockett County soccer) – Sisson scored two goals as the Lady Cavaliers beat Obion County 3-2.

5. Brooke Cossey (Hardin County volleyball) – Cossey had four aces, 13 kills and 19 digs as the Lady Tigers won their fifth match in a row in five sets over Waterloo (Ala.).

6. Emily Whitaker (Sacred Heart soccer) – Whitaker scored three goals as the Lady Knights beat South Side 12-0.

Monday and Tuesday's 6-star athletes


I was unable to post Monday’s 6-star athletes because I was out on the golf course for district tournaments, so I will run Monday and Tuesday’s today.

Monday

1. Savannah Pillow (Crockett County volleyball) – Pillow had five aces, 10 kills and 23 assists as the Lady Cavaliers beat USJ and South Side in a trimatch.

2. Bailey Hayes (Lexington soccer) – Hayes scored two goals as the Lady Tigers beat McKenzie 5-3.

3. Edie Buchanan (Madison volleyball) – Buchanan had 25 kills, 4 aces and two blocks as the Lady Mustangs swept North Side.

4. Jason Kirk (McNairy Central golf) – Kirk shot a 6-under 65 to win the District 15 A-AA boys’ title at Tennessee River Golf Course.

5. Lorrie Akins (Lexington golf) – Akins shot an 8-over 79 to win the District 15 A-AA girls’ title at Tennessee River Golf Course.

6. Cassidy Frazier (Hardin County volleyball) – Frazier had 15 aces on 38 service points and five kills as the Lady Tigers beat Tishomingo County (Miss.) twice.

Tuesday

1. Abby Fleming (USJ soccer) – Fleming had a goal and an assist as the Lady Bruins beat JCS 2-0.

2. Cynthia Beene (Chester County volleyball) – Beene had 32 digs as the Eaglettes beat Lexington in four sets to claim the District 14 A-AA regular season title. Beene has 81 digs in her last two district games.

3. Lila Byrd (Crockett County volleyball) – Byrd had 14 kills and two aces as the Lady Cavaliers beat Milan 3-1.

4. Morgan Stuckey (Milan golf) – Stuckey shot a 9-over 81 to win the District 13 A-AA girls’ title at Milan Golf and Country Club.

5. Courtney Simmons (Hardin County volleyball) – Simmons had 24 digs and four aces as the Lady Tigers beat Madison in five sets.

6. Jessica Neff (South Side volleyball) – Neff had 40 assists as the Lady Hawks swept Liberty and Trenton Peabody.

1. Andrea Moffitt (Lexington volleyball) – Moffitt had 25 kills, two blocks and six aces as the Lady Tigers swept North Side and Trenton Peabody in a trimatch.

2. Abby Alexander (South Gibson soccer) – Alexander scored three goals as the Lady Hornets beat Ripley 8-1.

3. Caitlyn Brown (Milan volleyball) – Brown had 22 assists, eight kills and three aces as the Lady Bulldogs swept Halls.

4. Emily Whitaker (Sacred Heart soccer) – Whitaker had two goals and two assists as the Lady Knights beat Liberty 8-0.

5. Annsley Poston (Chester County volleyball) – Poston had 15 kills and six aces as the Eaglettes beat South Side in five sets.

6. Molly McWilliams (Lexington soccer) – McWilliams had two goals and an assist as the Lady Tigers beat South Side 6-0.

2. Andrea Moffitt (Lexington volleyball) – Moffitt had 25 kills and five blocks as the Lady Tigers beat McNairy Central 3-1.

3. Addison Dunn (USJ soccer) – Dunn had three goals as the Lady Bruins beat Lausanne 4-0.

4. Bintou Ndiaye (Milan volleyball) – Ndiaye had 12 kills and nine aces as the Lady Bulldogs beat Trenton Peabody in straight sets.

5. Emily Plunk (Westview soccer) – Plunk had the lone goal as the Lady Chargers beat Obion County.

6. Edie Buchanan (Madison volleyball) – Buchanan had 14 kills and five aces as the Lady Mustangs swept Dyer County 3-0.

3. Savannah Pillow (Crockett County volleyball) – Pillow had 20 kills, 13 assists and three aces as the Lady Cavaliers swept Halls and Camden Christian in a trimatch.

4. Katie Williams (Crockett County soccer) – Williams had three goals in the Lady Cavaliers’ win over Ripley.

5. Edie Buchanan (Madison volleyball) – Buchanan had 11 kills and eight blocks as the Lady Mustangs swept Liberty.

2. Alice Nelson (Sacred Heart soccer) – Nelson had four goals as the Lady Knights beat previously unbeaten Dyersburg 5-1.

3. Edie Buchanan (Madison volleyball) – Buchanan had 15 kills and seven aces as the Lady Mustangs swept Riverside.

4. Jennifer Briley (TCA soccer) – Briley scored three goals as the Lady Lions beat Adamsville 4-0.

5. Hannah Grider (TCA volleyball) – Grider had eight kills, 14 aces and six digs as the Lady Lions swept Middleton.

6. Abbey Fleming (USJ soccer) – Fleming had a goal and an assist as the Lady Bruins beat Collierville 2-1.

1. Alana Byrd (Liberty soccer) – Byrd scored four goals as the Lady Crusaders beat South Side 7-0.

2. Rachel Burks (Madison volleyball) – Burks had 44 assists, six aces and four kills as the Lady Mustangs beat Lexington and South Gibson in a trimatch.

3. Carli Sisson (Crockett County soccer) – Sisson scored three goals and added an assist as the Lady Cavaliers beat Dyer County 4-2.

4. Annsley Poston (Chester County volleyball) – Poston had 22 kills and six aces as the Eaglettes swept McNairy Central.

5. Haven Phelps (McNairy Central soccer) – Phelps scored twice as the Lady Bobcats beat TCS 3-2.

6. Andrea Arreaza (USJ volleyball) – Arreaza had five aces, seven kills and two blocks as the Lady Bruins beat Fayette Academy 3-0.

Monday's 6-star athletes (9/10)


1. Carli Sisson (Crockett County soccer) – Sisson had three goals and an assist as the Lady Cavaliers beat South Gibson 4-1.

2. Lauren Schmidt (TCA volleyball) – Schmidt had five aces and 20 assists and the Lady Lions swept South Gibson.

3. Ben Carroll (Hardin County golf) – Carroll shot a 2-under 70 and won the playoff hole to be named the District 13-AAA champion. Hardin County also won the tournament as a team.

4. Edie Buchanan (Madison volleyball) – Buchanan had 19 kills as the Lady Mustangs swept Middleton.

5. Collin McPherson (Chester County golf) – McPherson shot a 41 to be named medalist in a match between Chester County, Scotts Hill and Riverside at Tennessee River Golf Course.

6. Katelyn Faulkner (Chester County volleyball) – Faulkner had six aces and 16 assists as the Eaglettes beat Lexington in four sets.

2. Jana Frye (Chester County volleyball) – Frye had 10 digs, 33 assists and five aces as the Eaglettes beat South Side in five sets.

3.Talia Hinson (Chester County soccer) – Hinson scored twice as the Eaglettes beat Adamsville 2-0.

4. Edie Buchanan (Madison volleyball) – Buchanan had 10 kills and 10 aces as the Lady Mustangs swept Scotts Hill in three sets.

5. Dahona Leasure (Liberty soccer) – Leasure scored a goal from 30 yards out to help the Lady Crusaders beat Madison 2-1.

6. Savannah Pillow (Crockett County volleyball) – Pillow had eight aces, eight kills and nine assists as the Lady Cavaliers beat Trenton Peabody in straight sets.

3. Andrea Arreaza (USJ volleyball) – Arreaza had 13 kills, two blocks and three aces as the Lady Bruins beat FACS in four sets.

4. Carli Sisson (Crockett County soccer) – Sisson scored three goals as the Lady Cavaliers beat Haywood 6-0.

5. Kellie Hayes (Lexington volleyball) – Hayes has 11 assists, four kills and 10 aces as the Lady Tigers swept Liberty.
